kindness is difficult to comeby unless ofcourse itis accompanied by applause, publicity absolute public gaze. There is no reason for anyone to be kimdhearted. yes it must have a payoff to be worthwhile. lookat allthose glam dolls lining up at charity events in their designer wear in the eyes of the press and media and all those who matter. one does seldom come across quiet unsung acts of charity. The poor look on bewildered at the hue and cry that precedes or follows the visit of a celebrity leaving them wondering who really benefitted from the event In fact the foxy celebrities meticulously plan the entire do to the last detail making sure they get a huge mileage in terms of money and time spent and kind gestures are the surest shortest way to instant celebrity hood. These people are truly disgusting as they have made charity sound like a dirty word. Another farce are the so called social service organisations and some "clubs " of international stature. sSure they are the easiest way to gatecrash into the high society as the so called "gentry " meets up at these events planning over dainty high teas and gourmet dinners some thing for the upliftment of the underprivileged or good of the society in a manner that ensures that they themselves stay in the news. Mother teresa are names which sound best when mouthed by bimbettes aspiring for the crown at beauty pageants . Once crowned the "queen" forgets all about the saint who much to her ignorance led a life which had only one mission that is to serve. Truly there should be a ban on the use of the names of great saints at such events. One honest approach to real service and dedication comes in the form of NGOs that make no bones about raising money for a cause and make sure it is wellspent
